Writing has always been a part of my path, in one way or another. Even before I knew the words content strategy or oxford comma or the Inverted Pyramid Structure, I knew that I wanted to be some kind of writer. Studying journalism at MacEwan University gave me the structure and discipline to turn that passion into a profession, and my career has been an evolution of that.

Balancing my experience in journalism, nonprofit communications, and marketing comes down to one core principle: understanding the audience and giving them something worth their time. Each industry is different, but this foundation remains the same!
